The Stars of East Ayrshire

Developing the Young Workforce – Ayrshire were delighted to attend the final of the Enterprising Stars Challenge in East Ayrshire held on 22nd April 2016 at The Park Hotel, Kilmarnock.

The challenge, which launched in January, consisted of Additional Support Need (ASN) schools across East Ayrshire taking part to create a profit making product or service. Each school was allowed to enter a maximum of 3 teams under these categories:

  • Primary School Team
  • Secondary BGE (1st – 3rd Year)
  • Secondary Senior Phase (4th – 6th Year)

At the final of the challenge all pupils presented their idea to a panel of judges which consisted of:
